HD+ module including smartcard

This module for the HD+ channel package can be used with any satellite receiver (or TV with built-in DVB-S2 satellite tuner) with a CI+ slot.

The HD+ module is supplied with the HD+ smartcard, for watching the HD+ channels for 6 months for free. The ideal solution for watching TV during the holidays!

HD+ is a new channel package in HD quality and is boradcasted exclusively via the ASTRA satellite. The following channels are in the HDTV package currently:

• RTL HD,
• Sat.1 HD,
• ProSieben HD,
• VOX HD,
• RTL II HD,
• SIXX,
• kabel eins HD and
• Sport 1 HD 

With this module you can watch both the free-to-air HD- and SD-programs and the coded commercial HD-channels.

CI Plus: is a further development of the CI-standard. The CI Plus-interface is required for the use of CI+ modules of cable tv providers or other PayTV providers. The modules can decode themself or in combination with a smartcard channels. The CI+ interface is compatible with the previous CI-interface (Common Interface) and allow recording as well. With the new CI+ interface providers can set limitations for recording the number of programs simultaneously.
